What this site collects, and what it does not.
Short, because the site does little. The enquiry form, two things your own browser holds, and the ordinary server logs any website has.

What the enquiry form collects and where it goes
The form on the contact page asks for four things we need before we can reply: your name, your email, the company, brand or project name, and what you are making. Five more are optional and help us quote: country, whether you are a brand, a retailer, a designer or a new label, phone, quantity per style, and timing. Anything you shortlisted in the garment or fabric library travels with the brief as the names of the garments or fabrics you picked.
The form also carries one field hidden from view. It is a decoy for automated submissions, and a visitor never sees it.
As the site is published today, the page sends nothing anywhere. Pressing send opens your own email application or WhatsApp with the brief already written into the message, and you send it from there. Nothing reaches us before you do.
If a form-handling service is connected later, the same fields and the same shortlist would be posted to it when you press send. That is not set up, and this page will name the service on the day it is.
What the site stores in your browser
Two things, both held by your own browser on your own device, neither sent anywhere:
- Your light or dark preference, under
shivalik:theme, so a page opens the way you left it. - Your shortlist of garments and fabrics, under
shivalik:shortlist, so the enquiry form can list what you picked.
Both are browser storage, not cookies. Clearing site data for this site removes them.
What the site does not do
No cookies are set. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising tag. Checked on 22 September 2026: the published pages load no script from any other domain.
Images and typefaces are served from this site. The two typefaces are downloaded once when the site is built and served from here, so opening a page makes no request to Google.
Server logs
Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary request logs: the IP address that asked, the time, and the page. The hosting provider is not named here yet; this page names it once the site’s hosting is settled.
Changes, or deleting what you sent
Whatever you sent sits in the email or WhatsApp thread you sent it on, and in our reply. Write to contactus@shivalikdesign.com to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
