The Spacelines: one garment, start to finish.
The Spacelines is our own label, and we developed and made the garments in its photoshoot, so one pair of denim trousers can be followed through all four stages under one roof in Faridabad.

Development

- A sketch, a reference garment, a mood board or a tech pack.

- We read the design intent, worked through construction, fit and trims, and wrote the specification the floor built to.

- A written specification with construction notes and trim details.

Sourcing
- What came in
- A composition, a weight, a handfeel or a physical swatch.
- What we did
- We matched it across the fabric library and the mills we buy from, and put workable alternatives beside the first choice.
- What went back
- Swatches with composition, construction and width against each option.

Sampling
- What came in
- The approved specification, fabric and size set.
- What we did
- We cut and made the first sample in-house, then corrected fit and construction before the order was cut.
- What went back
- Proto and fit samples, plus the specification updated to match them.

Manufacturing & finishing
- What came in
- A signed sample, the order quantity and the size ratio.
- What we did
- We planned cutting, stitching and finishing, and checked the work in line and again before it was packed.
- What went back
- Packed goods with the labels, tags and packaging named in the specification.
